Active Server Page Membership Directory Database

The Membership Directory is a great product for organizations wishing to maintain a directory of members accessible to the public via the Web, or for use over an Intranet. It is ideal for Chambers of Commerce, local communitity Web sites and private organization membership listings.

The product includes a Microsoft Access database and multiple Active Server Page (ASP) files ready for immediate installation on your Internet Service Provider's Windows NT Server. An online data entry system allows membership information to be added, changed and deleted over the Web using nothing but a standard Web browser. You don't even have to buy a copy of Microsoft Access for the desktop, which saves literally hundreds of dollars!

Information stored about each member includes name, address with map link, telephone, web address, category and subcategory, keywords, etc.

Web visitors can browse the database by Category / Subcategory, view members alphabetically, or perform searches based on multiple criteria including keywords, partial field matches and other information. Member names are shown hyperlinked to their Web address, if the member has a web adress. Address information is used to create a hyperlink for displaying a map of the member's location.

The product is also available with an optional rotating ad capability. Banner ads may be placed at the top level, or at the Category or Subcategory level, and hyperlinked to the sponsors' websites.
